History
The Railway Inn, A delightful Grade II Listed Building with Accommodation, Dining, separate Bar and plenty of outside seating. Formally known as Churston Links Hotel (and served the Golf Club) and most likely dates back to early 1860’s but has been mentioned as the Station Hotel in directories from 1866. Since then has been known as The Railway Hotel and The Weary Ploughman. Donna and Phil McCann felt The Railway Inn was a far more appropriate name for this Grade II listed building and so it was renamed in September 2019 and inside has been themed along those lines. An Agatha Christie Corner has been created as many years ago Agatha often sat waiting for a train penning her next novel in this lovely Inn!
Fantastic food produced in our own kitchens using local produce and some special offers in the week to entice you! Wonderful local Real Ales and a great premium Gins & Spirits Menu, Cocktail Menu awaits. A new outside area has been created for al fresco dining or a drink with friends watching the Steam Trains.
Conveniently situated on the main road to Brixham, adjacent to the Churston Railway Station (Dartmouth Steam Railway), opposite Churston Golf Club. Agatha Christie’s house is close by at Greenway & the Tour Bus collects right outside! A large car park makes ease of access. Delightful bed & breakfast accommodation which is perfectly situated for the whole of the English Riviera, Dartmouth, Steam Train Rides, Agatha Christies House at Greenway and a game of golf

We serve Local Real Ales, draught Lager/Cider/Guinness, as well as a great Wine List with Wine supplied by the family run Regency Wines of Exeter.
