The family were great collectors, and the house is filled with archaeology, Tunbridgeware, silver, botanical china and books.

FISHCOMBE COVE
The beautiful little shingle beach of Fishcombe on the outskirts of Brixham is a quiet, peaceful little cove surrounded on all sides by tall cliffs and wooded hillsides. The beach is very sheltered and an idyllic spot if you want to escape the crowds of Brixham. There is a steep path that leads down to the beach which passes through mature woodland and opens out to reveal the small cove and spectacular scenery.

THE GOLDEN HIND
The Golden Hind in Brixham Harbour, is one of only two full sized replicas in the world of 16th century explorer and privateer Sir Francis Drake’s famous ship.
The Ship has been a feature of picturesque Brixham harbour for over fifty years, entertaining and educating thousands of visitors during this time – as well as being featured on many tv programmes and films. The Ship is open come rain or shine and is an all weather attraction with many indoor displays as well as wide open decks and on-board activities.

BERRY HEAD
This attraction can be accesed by the coastal path or a drive to the car park, a lovely walk around this historic location, wide open spaces and views from all sides of the coast, various paths which can reveal some exiting scenes which you can photograph.

BRIXHAM HARBOUR
Brixham Harbour is located on the southern side of Tor Bay and boasts one of the largest fishing fleets in the UK, plus a thriving fish market to support it.
Over 100 fishing boats land and sell their catch at the local fish market on the quayside. A visitor viewing platform is strategically placed so visitors can watch the busy comings and goings of the fishing fleet, made up of large beam trawlers and the smaller day boats.
